I'm looking to start up a window cleaning company, and the most affordable way for me to do this will be to start off with a trailer.

Is it possible to fit a towbar to the Aygo? I've done a bit of googling but not really come across anything.

Has anyone here fitted a towbar?

thanks and happy new year all!

It's definately possible, but not allowed.

The engine would struggle too much and the brakes aren't up to the task either.

Because of that the Aygo may not pull any trailers. Doing so anyway will void

your warranty (if it would come to engien damage because of the struggling)

and since the car isn't registered to pull a trailer you won't be insured either.

The Roof Rack is the only legal way to go. Should be able to withstand at least 50kg

The rear frame protrusions either side of the spare wheel cavity is simply not strong enough to withstand sideways forces. A aftermarket company has produced a tow attachment, but this is strictly for bicycles only.

With the Roof Rack for ladders, you should have enough room in the back for buckets, cleaning materials, etc. with the rear seats folded down. There is decent enough space in the back with the seats folded.

Cheers guys

Yeah im not too sure what i'm going to do. I was hoping to use the trailer to store the water purification system and poles.

I think i might just get a smaller system to stick in the back of the car and keep the purification system at home...

Or just buy a van and go the whole hogg!
