i think i no wat your going to say stay away but its had quite abit of work done to it inc the bottom end ??/ why does he say its got a tap when cold ??

and if you read the listing its a inport (jap)

- THIS WAS A JAP IMPORTED CAR AND IS REGISTERED AS BEING A UK IMPORT NOW, SO LOG BOOK HANDLING ETC IS JUST THE SAME AS A ORIGINAL UK CAR NOW.

- ENGINE SEEMS TO BE TAPPING ON TICK OVER THEN GOES OFF, BUT THEN THERE IS A SLIGHT KNOCK WHEN REVVING IT, I HAVENT DRIVEN IT SINCE AS I DONT KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. (ONLY 2 WEEKS AGO)

sounds like bigend to me but i could be wrog ??

just seems very strange after having a rebuild this dhould happen but im new to all this any help would be great

slight knock sounds like big ends, the tapping could be the shims not sized correctly after new valves getting fitted
