Engine Noise

Hello folks,

got a 1997 1300 petrol e4fe engine,had it 4 years 121,000 miles runs great except in damp weather now getting a squealing noise,only happens occasionally,been told it's the Fan belt ????and needs tightening ????,

Could anyone please tell me how to tighten it and where it's located ?????,

Think its adjusted via the alternator on those - losen bolt on the bottom of the alternator and i think theres a bolt on top that goes through a slider. Loosen that off as well and then on some theres an adjuster screw that slackens or tightens it
