Was thinking about fitting some sort of induction kit, does anyone have any recommendations of which one.

More importantly does the car need remapping afterwards or are the ecu fairly self learning, and whats the fuel economy like after one is installed?

Cheers people

Be a little bit more specific and it's easier to help ;)

Any forced induction kit/installation will need new ECU or remap. I recently put the TTE compressor kit on my TS. Came with a new ECU. Milage is up (or down depending on how you look at it) a little (maybe 10%), but it's hard to tell since I did the conversion just when winter sat in. Fuelconsumption will go up regardless. You need more fuel in there to get more power from the induction.

If you're thinking about an induction like K&N Typhoon, Apexi or the like you don't need to do anything with the ECU. Mileage is about the same, power is (theoretically at least) increased a little bit, but the sound is wicked!
