Obd Connection

Hi, I'm new and not a good mechanic or an electronic guru, but,my significant other has a Yaris 01 reg (Y) does this vehical have a connector for the OBD or other for reading fault codes. it's a 1.1 cc if this makes a difference. i need to check the engine warning light, I have had it checked out at a Toyota garage twice, but after a short while it comes back on. I personally think they just switch the light off without checking why it came on in the first place.
