it doesnt specify which model, just says corolla fitment. are all the models the same exhaust fitment? could be a good buy.

I think it's for the US model Corolla XRS.

i asked the lad on you tube he said

''it`s a KYO N1 TXback box that i bought from the US and i modified it to fit on the Japanese Hatchback corolla`s.''

so thats why no one has heard of it

If someone gives me a proof that you can get some gains from TS by changing the whole exhaust, i will change mine.

Otherwise i will only change the backbox and do some modding for the back end so it fits to my new rear bumper.

It may be worth a look at eBay item 320313089729

Although listed for a 2.0 diesel Corolla other members have had no problems fitting the "wrong" TTE back box to their cars.

IIRC Rez89 offered £80 to this seller and it was accepted.

He fitted it to his 1.4 with no problems Clicky

ye as norfolk has said i too bought a backbox which wasnt for my 1.6 facelift and it stil fit perfectley! no modifications were required just a straight clamp on job.

its worth a try on getting the one off eBay and if modification is required the most you will need to do is cut off the clamp from your standard backbox and weld it onto the tte backbox so it will become a direct fit.

also that kypo backbox does sound very nice. sounds like its a full exhaust system but its not!

BUT the tte backbox does become very loud once you wear it in....i did mine by doing some motorway driving and a few weeks later it sounds like a beast! :D

the tte exhaust has a really nice sound. The T-SPORT model should have come with one on at stock, gives a nice low grunt and a top end roar. Prefer the sound of the typhoon at the moment. But the exhaust sounds i like are the sharp screaming ones like golf r32s ;) Like cars with quiet exhaust and then when you throttle it you get the top end roar! like m3s !

ye i know what you mean those kind of sounds just make feel so giddy lol

but the tte is suprisingly loud for a backbox. at first i thought its not much but as time went it got louder and louder. on low revs you can hear a nice low bassy rumble on high revs it roars and gives a very sporty sound :D

and hey for £25 you cant complain :P

It was a while back now.

Had almost rusted completely through just before the clamp, you could move the clamp plate like a hinge!

£30 bit of welding and all is good!

naa mine aint going dont worry lol i have checked out the exhaust a while ago cos i had no idea why there was a gap in the clamp job till someone here told me cos of the gasket in between the pipes lol

i have checked the exhaust and its not going its just become louder due to wearing in :D

if it was going you would get that very airy sound roar when you rev the car which i dont get!

so :P
