Battery Disconnection Query

Hi all,

if the Battery is disconnected from a new diesel Yaris, will the radio code need to be re-entered? From searching this site there are various other older Toyotas that this applies to. This also applies to Renaults, however a Citroen C4 is OK (which is good, 'cos the warning lights come up when it's cold and it's loads cheaper to reset the faults by unhooking the Battery than going to a dealer).

Hi Mickle, I disconnected my batt D4-D 06 model for approx 60 secs and the radio did not need a code, usually a dealer can find a radio code from the vehicle reg.
