My "new" Corolla 1.3gl

Hi i have just been given a new corolla 1.3GL liftback 87-92. the body is not in great shape but the interior is pretty good i want to do it up, body and engine but its my first car so i dont know where to start. could people please give me the benefit of there experience, where do i start, what do i do, where do i buy things from?????

All help is much appreciated i will post all pics from the start of my project to the finish

first up, get some nice wheels and some uprated shocks/springs, try

http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/ or get hold of a gti thats breaking and swop all the goodies over

then maybe a nice sounding exhaust or just the back box,

i did forget to mention that i have the original gti alloys on it...not in great condition could get them restored or buy new ones....

depends what sort of look your after!

alloys can be picked up cheap if you look around, or if you want it to look like a gti then just get them restored :)
