LATEST INFORMATION

Having waited a week to gauge interest Anne called today to check current availability.

There is good news and bad news.....

We have provisionally booked 10 places for Friday night Saturday night 24th 25th July.

They will need a deposit of £20 per tent which needs to be paid within the next 7 days.

The only spaces left are "Electric Pitches" (you can see the details in the link), these are £2 extra per night.

So that means the price will be £15.50 per night for a two man tent (Minimum of two nights) making it £31.00 for the weekend.

I know this is not the cheapest of locations but at such short notice the options are very limited.

I will pay the deposits and collect them later if those with their names down can confirm that they still want to go.

CONFIRMED

Right folks! I have reserved another couple of tent pitches so if anyone else wants to come can they please let us know as soon as possible!

Also the campsite have asked me what size tents we are bringing....have told them most 2man or 4man but need to know if you have bigger tents - like bedouin (?) palaces etc ;)

So far looks like a good meet eh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! B)

just a quick note, as were going to "The Deep" on the saturday, dont forget you can use your tesco clubcard points to pay for this. but youll need to pre order your vouchers.

Well we have booked 10 pitches on this very swish site!! Looked round and it is very nice indeed.

Info for those interested in using the electricity....it is one three pin plug each so I would advise you bring an extension plug.

Les has paid the deposits and he would appreciate it if you each had £20 note to put in his sweaty palm on the day!!! :bangin:

Looks like its gonna be a gudun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a bit of info for those coming............

Don't bother loading any booze or food in your car to bring down (No it isn't supplied free  ) There is an Asda not far away we can drive there and stock up with all the necessary stuff after you settle in.

I have a route to the site made up for anyone who wants it to put in their TomTom and I'll post alternative directions up for those who need it.

ITINERARY

Saturday

10:00-10:15 Leave for a trip round THE DEEP There is usually no need to pre book this during none bank holiday weekends but the car parking is expensive (£3.00)

12:00-12:30 Lunch The plan is to go HERE for the varied eating establishments.

The evening will be spent drinking, chilling, drinking, BBQ-ing, drinking, socialising.....I think you get the drift ;)

Sunday

9:30-10:00 BBQ'd bacon butties

11:30 Treasure hunt

1:00pm Fish & chips on the sea front

Then return to the site for your gear (official time for leaving the site is 2:00pm but they will let us have a pass to return later)

Everything here is just a rough guide but I hope we can get to do them all ;)
