Hi all, new here.

Rewrote this under new topic after seeing mpg on another thread, sorry!

Looking into maybe buying a new rav4,140 d-4d xtr.....just want to know what the powers like on this model....

Also, whats the best prices for side steps like the originals, and also roof rails.I have seen the rails for about £150,and very similar to original also. ;)

Hi mate and welcome to TOC, power wise the 2.2 diesel is very torquey and a lot faster than you would think. In fact

I can honestly say my Rav is a lot faster than a few petrol powered cars I've had in the past. IMHO, test drive it and

you will be well impressed.

As for parts and accessories, well as you have joined up here you allready qualify for 10% discount on genuine Toyota

parts from our very good friend Kingo (Parts_king) who is parts manager at Lindopp Toyota. If you need prices for

anything your thinking of buying, send him a PM.

Fast and economical. Reached 100 m.p.h the other day in error, and easily returns 50m.p.g. 4th. gear is a good accelerating range for overtaking/

Thanks, i currently drive a mazda 3,2.0 sport which is fairly nippy when revved hard, but fuel consumption is only about 30mpg,so hopefully if i go for the rav i will get a bit more to the gallon, even tho diesel is a tad more a litre.

Its a toss up between a rav,cr-v,and was a santa-fe,but thats a bit big,and mpg is a bit on the low side...
