mate does the noise only appear after the cars been running for a while? metal expands when heated.. it mayb jst ur centre box if the normal system has one..

if u think its ur cat ask mr T to unbolt it and have a look.. its pretty easy to spot if it breaking up

i always use to get wot kangzy described

but bout 2 weeks ago was drivin an could here very loud rattle in exhaust, sounded like there was something metal in the exhaust loose

it cleard out the next day but then ecu light came on

took it to mr T an cat had gone, it's goin in tomoz to get replaced

if you got any doubt just get it in to be checked, especially if under warranty as they have told me it's a £3500 part

hi towey,it does it all the time hot or cold only when you pull off. if you pull off usein normal revs it vibrates in 1st gear get goin to 2nd its ok after that, seems to only do it when the engine labours.got a new cat back system on so doubt it will be the center box. cheers

hi,been drivin to work today and have been listenin to this vibrating noise dont think its the cat it sounds like a heat shield or a bracket resonating when under load as it is ok once u are drivin.gonna have a look at it myself tomoz.

hi mate ,its going in on saturday so they can check it thats what the warranty is for,i had a look today at the front pipe and the heat shields are fine.am thinking the divider plate in the front pipe is loose as a couple of owners have had this prob but dealer just put springs and bolts on last time and did not remove front pipe to check it properly and never test drove it to see if it was ok
