Back Brakes Grinding

My Auris has had this problem since I got it I have been back the the dealers several times and the say its a "common" problem they have got bad its worse at lower speeds but it shouldnt be the front ones are fine.Iam going to try a new set of pads to see if that helps.Dose anybody have any other suggestions?

Your dealer is right in that its a common problem with the Auris, much has been written and said about it on the forum

below is a thread i started a while ago, look it up and have a read.

Brake Squeal Issues ( Do You Have An Oppinion )

Have you had the mods carried out , and if so has it worked ?.

Thanks Iam going to replace all of the pads soon because ive done 17500 miles now on the originals.

There is a technical bulletin for 'groaning' rear brakes on the Auris. The fix is to fit modified rear pad carriers.
