hi all just a quick question,Im doing some real thinking about selling my yaris t sport and buying a corolla and i just wanted no is there anything i should watch for when im buying and if anyone knows is there much diff in the speed and driving in the corolla?The reason im asking is because ill be coming to england to buy one as there are not many over here and dont want it to be a waste of time :( thanks for any reply

much faster, nearly hitting the 200bhp barrier. Erm it will feel faster than the yaris by far. One more thing is keep an eye out that you can hit lift at 6000rpm...if not then the cars buggered!

The car's not exactly buggered if you can't hit lift, it probably just means swapping the Lift bolts which isn't a big job.

Just check all the bodywork, make sure it does hit Lift after 6200RPM (It wont when cold..It limits at around 7k) If you're looking for a Pre-Facelift model, try to get one that's already been lowered, has a strut brace etc, will save you some pennies afterwards! Also check the clutch as they're quite poor on the CTS.

I can't think of own else, but this has been covered a few times and people will spout loads at you shortly :P

Makes me sound like a noob but what exactly is lift?

Is it like the vtec of Toyota then?

Basicly, Yes.

Hit 6200RPM and the second cam stage kicks in, Your speed goes WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE and your MPG Goes, ARRRRRRRRRGH. :P
