Heater Display

Hi,

i am hoping someone might be able to help,after a trouble free trip i jumped back into the car put key in the ign and turned it to start,there seemed to be an electrical crack from the passenger side and the car was dead not a bit of life completely nothing,removed key shut door pressed the remote to lock and it worked so pressed to unlock and that worked also,put key back in to start and started no problem except that my clock is back to 12.00 my sat nav is back asking me to choose a language and the digital display for the air con/heater control is not showing anything,any help would be great...

Hi Andy

I think I would start with the simple things. The fact that everything reset indicates a total power loss, probably due to a bad connector on the Battery.

Check the connectors are clean and correctly tightened up and see what happens in the future.

Disconnecting the Battery whilst you check the connectors may reset the heater display.:D

checked the Battery connections and both slack,tightened and all seems to be ok,
