If its the optimixthingymajigdooda that you supplied for number 1 RAV, then the blades are

a. still intact

b. still work very well

- even better once a young helpful chap put the blades aerofoilwhatsits the right way up !!! :lol: Up til then I was getting the car lifting off!

Aye but the trouble is now they press so hard at 200mph they stop :D

A pair of genuine "Optifit" wiper blades is going to cost about £16 delivered, they are excellent quality, even comes with the drivers side spoiler as per the original. Optifit is a genuine Toyota part,

Toyota make a full range of "Genuine" replacement parts, the exact same part as fitted on the car from new. They also make a range of parts called "Optifit" which are cheaper, and aimed at the older car.

That's a nice picture, wish we had the V6 over here.

Just noticed that some of them have the old electric aerial poping out of the front wing......haven't seen them for years.

Wonder if it's the radio frequencies they use, they need a bigger aerial

There was something I think on RAV4World about the 2009 RAV's having a roof mounted aerial like us.....but to be honest I did'nt take much notice of it, was looking at the V6 engine.

Valeo wipers have a little yellow sticker that changes colour but as soon as you turn your back they change. I can't afford new wipers every 40 seconds so I ignore the sticker ;)

Not wanting to stir anything up, cos thats not my way ( :shutit: ) but the blades you sent me had a blue sticker on - one of which is still blue and the other seems to have gone...... or maybe they do just last 45 seconds like acrmn says????
