Has anyone fitted a aftermarket HID light kit to a avensis ??

I'm looking at 1 on eBay for about £55

I just wanted to know if anyone has any advice as to fit or not and maybe some hints if they have any.

To thedev,

I have a 35w CE approved HID kit with 5000k (no Blue tinge just clear White light) rated bulbs supplied with 2 year warranty. The kit was supplied by HIDS4U.co.uk, well set up website, just put car info in & various kits come up. I think they may be selling above kit for some £50 odd. bulbs give a proper break-off point & do not blind oncoming traffic. I live in the countryside & they are a God Send.

Many other kits on the market, but you will not have to deal with eBay if anything goes wrong, they even have a Human Being who answers the phone & the person actually knows what they are talking about.

You may have forum users telling you they are illegal (maybe so in the UK) but i live outside of the UK & they are legal, they fly straight through annual car test each year.

Regards, Beagh.

hello

i have fitted a kit from (google) "hids4u" transforms the car at night time well worth it,go for the 55w version 6000k ,be sure to tell them if your buying you have projector type headlamps h7 type bulbs(dims)...have to take off the bumper to fit, couple a bolts and a bit of pulling looks daunting but no problem

i've got a 53 avensis and the hids4u website says it's £194 for the kit as there's a issue with the ecu and canbus wiring.

I don't think i can stretch that far.

does anyone now if that is a real issue and does anyone know of a cheaper option
