Correct Offset For A Gen 7

On 18" Rims, I'd recommend an Offset of 32-35. The Rims you've seen are for an Impreza and even if they clear the Calipers, will sit too far inboard.

so if the offset is above what you stated and they clear the calipers, would spacers work as long as i got longer nuts?

Thanks

You could fit Hubcentric Spacers, but they are expensive. Standard Spacers are to be avoided as they shorten Wheel Bearing life.

Hi thanks for the reply, im looking at another set of alloys, but the seller thinks the offset is 38,

Am I to take that these wont fit either?

Thanks

38 is the correct Offset for 17" Wheels. Most Gen 7 owners go for an Offset of 35 with 18" Wheels, but I'm confident they WILL fit. Don't go any wider than 8" though and I'd recommend 225/35 front, 225/40 rear as regards Tyre sizes irrespective of 7.5" or 8" Rim width.
