Wheel Arch Trims

I've got a GX and would like to fit the wheel arch extensions that the next model up has as they make the Ravs look beefier and add some protection as well but I just can't find anywhere that sells them.

Does anyone know where I can get some at a sensible price?

I think Kingo said they work out expensive and then have to be painted. He will comment tomorrow.

Some pop up on eBay.. but as Anchorman says above..painting them may prove expensive..unless you find the right colour for your RAV...

And here's a finished RAV with them fitted (part of the VX standard)

Not sure as I've never looked for these, but I have found a wider range of accessories available from sites in the USA.

Any that you reckon might be worth me looking at?

I don't know how hard they are to obtain, but I think retro-fitting them would be everso tricky because on cars that come with them, the door etc panels have holes in the for the mountings. They don't just stick on.....

I've browsed thru sites in USA and Australia - and haven't found wheel arch extensions yet..... there are extensions available for the hilux on a site and I believe the RAV extensions may be manufactured by Bomax.

We used to supply a retro kit that was available at one time, but they were discontinued some time ago. They were not as beefy as the genuine arches

It would be prohibitivly expensive to buy the genuine arches, and a difficult job too, as the wing requires all sorts of holes and drilling to fit. Each arch will cost you in the region of £150 EACH

Kingo

Well thanks for your help.

I sort of suspected it must be difficult/expensive because I just never found anywhere offering such a product.
