Original Warranty Question

Hey, i've just noticed that my passanger door has some rust bubbles along the bottom. Does anyone know what the original bodywork warranty was, and if this would qualify for a warranty repair? Not sure if it was 12 years, like the current one or not.., my car is a 1999 model

Cheers

It should be on the one of the back pages in you 'user manual'.

I think anyway

The anti perforation warranty covers corrosion from the INSIDE OUT, in other words, when a wing rusts through from the underside, this would be covered (I think it was 10 years back in those days??? could be wrong) It is highly unlikely a rust bubble under the paint is coming from inside the panel, more likely to be minor damage to the bottom door edge and water has got under the paint causing it to bubble. Have it looked at by your dealer who can advise you

Kingo
