Rain Is A Pain!

To any MK1 Avensis owners.

Whilst driving in the rain (at motorway speeds 60mph+) the wind swirls the water up like mad in the bottom, front, corner of both front windows, visabilty to the door mirrors is virtually nil.

Has any one got/had the same problem and if so any recommendations for a cure. I've thought about wind deflecter kits but not sure if they work.

Cheers peeps DDF

I reckon defelectors are your only option as a cure

I think they would work so long as they reach down to sil level. Some I've seen on other cars only come to mirror tops.

Me thinks I shall look into this further.

Similar sorta problem with my MR2 is that when you drive with the lights popped up, little pools of water form on the lid of the light and when you drive fast it splashes onto your windscreen, very strange when its stopped raining because its still raining on your windscreen!

Just another personality trait of the MR2 I suppose!
