Aygo Engine Noise

Hi im just wondering if anyone has any ideas about what might be causing my problem. My aygo (has done 36000 miles in 2 1/2 years) makes a deep rattling noise when its running under 2000rpm when its from a cold start, it reminds me of a blown exhaust kind of noise but that is definately not the case. The noise stops after about 10 mins and the engine heats up.

Yep, my wifes does it (Devil-ish), it's a 2007 with 21000 on the clock.

Unless you are burning oil or loosing power I wouldn't worry, even my Roadster does it from cold when the weather is on the very chilly side ;) , it's either a bit of piston slap or noisy tappets, they both disappear when engine temperatures increase and the oil starts to circulate.
