New Problem - Funny Smell

I got into my G7 on saturday night and there had been a very hard frost, very cold!

i noticed a funny smell which wasnt there a few hours earlier. It reminds me of onions (like if you have a vegetable cupboard and theres onions and potatoes in there - kind of a vegetable oniony smell)

i dont notice it after driving for a bit, but its there everytime i get in the car. im wondering if its maybe a gas of somesort (maybe the cold cracked something) does the g7 HAVE anything that contains gas?

it doesnt smell of damp, although i have had a leak problem, but if it were damp why would the car smell fine in the afternoon then later that night after the frost suddenly smell?

Air-con gas leak?

Could be just smelly air ducts, for which you can by a freshner spray.
