hi guys...im new to TOC and to the Curren. i bought it off a friend cos i liked the way it handled, however i just discovered yesterday that parts for this car are a nightmare!i was told that my shock absorber was leaking..but the mechanic doesnt know where to get the parts.also...the car has some scratches and 2 dents and i would like to know the cheapest and easiest way to restore the car's external look(i was thinking knocking out the dents and spraying it black) and finding parts. im in london and if anyone can offer me any help it'd be great cos im new to driving in the uk..and this is my first car here so im pretty lost.

if you are after oem parts try your local toyota garage - im pretty sure all parts is used on more than one car model! beware tho as it'll be expensive for original parts.

however, you should give Parts-King from this forum a PM with your call details, such as your VIN Number, and then ask for what you need/want and he'll be able to give you the oem parts at a discounted price!

as for your car scratches n dents, do a google search for accident repair shop around your area, get some numbers and give them a call for a quote! bad thing about owning a model that was never officially sold here in the uk is that finding body parts is impossible, unless you are very very lucky to find some at the scrap yard! only service/mechanical parts can be obtained easily through toyota garages so be extra careful with your body panels! good luck buddy!!
