Cargo Net

Hi all

Anyone know of a suitable cargo net for my swb rav?

I did have a net off my old yaris verso that I used, but the car has been into toyota for new alloys as the others were bubbling a few months ago and I have Just noticed that the net is missing.

Anyway, as the boot is very small and everythink falls out when you open the rear door, I used it vertically like a low fence to keep everything in.

Is there one made for this model, or anyone have any other ideas? I generally wouldnt use it, so dont want to fork out a fortune for it.

Thanks

I'd have sent a pair of my fishnets, but they're ripped.

I made one up for the Wife's SWB RAV as we had the same problem, and couldn't find a suitable sized one.

From one of the pound shops got a pair of I think they were 16 inch square luggage nets, removed the surplus clips along the top edge and one of the sides and used black tyraps to join the two nets together. Then fabricated some clips from coat hanger wire for the luggage nets like an O shape bent 90 degrees, fitted those to the screws securing the plastic trim on - so net clips on at both sides and the bottom - job done in 20 minutes.

Here's a lin k to a site in USA selling them -

cargo nets

Thanks

Try Caravan accessories suppliers and/or Boat chandlers (I know the latter do them from my narrow boat days) You've certainly no need to go to the USA for them, as they're a 'standard item in both of the aforementioned leisure suppliers
