Hi i have been thinking of getting a new car and i was thinkng of a corolla t sport. I have a saxo at the min and want somthing with a bit more poke out of it and something that wont brake down on me alot.

Was wanting to know if any1 has had any major problems with a t sport

I also was wanting to know if a yaris or glanza is worth a buy.

My mate selling a glanza with 210bhp and doesnt ragg it. is a corolla better?

thanx for your comments

Hey mate,

As far as I know the corollas are quite reliable. I cant comment on the yaris or glanza but I would imagine the glanza requiring more maintainence down the line due to the nature of turbo engines. The corolla is more practical than the glanza and more well equipped as standard, however it is a bigger car. I couldnt be happier with my corolla, its refined enough for the wife and yet has enough power to put a smile on my face everytime I drive it. ;)

I have owned my TS little bit over year now, and it's still very fun to drive daily and no break downs.

My previous car was a Xsara VTS and i will never ever buy a french car again.. fun to drive but it was always broken.

If you can buy a compressor TS, but if that's to expensive go for the facelift because it's better looking as a stocky.

Having come from a glanza they are nice cars....but require a lot of work from my experience especially if he is running 210 (do you know what he has had done....i.e. forged engine etc)

In respect to the corolla it wont have the same pull as 210 bhp glanza but will do it top end, its just a different sort of drive...... but as i have also had a saxo it will be far more fun then that if you get the handling sorted ;)

go test drive one, make sure you go past 6.2k rpm once engine is warm, you will then want to buy it on the spot, if you can afford some extra get yaself a civic type r or as above the corolla compressor.

i too have had mine over 1 year and still take it out for a spin for no reason other than to hit that sweet spot (6200 rpm)
