Hi All,

I'm about to treat myself to mats. Phoned the main dealer in Kilmarnock and they cost about £49.25. Only one choice though. Seems to me that there is a wee peg in the carpet to hold the mat, if I get aftermarket mats are there any types that have a hole for the peg? Anyone researched this topic, or any advice, web addresses etc?

Cheers! Tony

With the outragous official parts cost we bought some mid price ones from the local supermarket petrol station for about £15 for a set of 4. The same outlet do them from about £5!

These are very thick rubber with carpet in the main wear area to soak up any water from wet shoes. They also contained trim marks so they were cut down to fit the shape of the Aygo floor.

Issue with peg was resolved by simply cutting a small hole in the mat.

Thanks for the info. I'm sure I'll do something similar.

Kind regards Tony:-)

Be sure to look on eBay, I just bought some new, official aygo mats for £16! ps i wouldnt bother getting ones that arent made for an aygo, they dont fit and ride up under the clutch etc :)

I nipped down to Halfords they ordered me the aygo specific mats approx £35, received them 4 days later - perfect fit - good quality - no p&p like eBay - hope this helps your choice options.

I have official mats, 50quid, found them a bit poor quality compared to the first Aygo, but they have blue trim and say Aygo on them so thats all that matters
