Thinking Of Buying A Yaris

I am thinking of getting the 2009 Yaris. The car needs to be an auto. Is the Yaris MMT that bad? I heard that many had serious problems both with the MMT and normal manual. Do you suggest I get the Yaris or find something else?

I might be wrong, but my dealer says the're replacing the MMT in March with the new CVT box. I'd ask about that before ordering. The MMT has had a few probs, give one a try if you can though before you decide.

Thanks. Subaru used a cvt in their 80's and 90's J10 (Justy) and Ford in the Fiesta with excellent results. A CVT does not have all those pumps and electronics needed by the MMT.
