Hey, replacing the thermostat, in the BGB it says align the Jiggle Valve. I took the old one off, it had one. But the new one(Not OEM) doesnt have a jiggle valve. What does the Jiggle Valve do?? Will it still be OK without the Jiggle valve??? Quick help please! Need my car!

Well quick post so if it happens to anyone else, I ordered a STANT thermostat( NOT a superstat) and it didnt come with a jiggle valve, called the warehouse and asked if i just got a bad stat. They said the rest were without jiggle valves. Went to bleed the Coolant and fluid never went through and the engine started to overheat in minutes. So, thinking the stat was good i cleaned and took out the rad... (not clogged), so i decided just to remove the stat(Without replacing), perfect! (Except for the fact that it took over 20 minutes for the engine to warm up... lol) If you ever decide to do this... Bad idea. The engine wont let you get full boost unless the engine is at a certain operating temp, so i thought something was wrong... but after it heated up, it worked fine! Wooo, bleeding the cooling system 4 times, SUCKS!!!
