Hey

Just getting a service on the car done and wondering if "Castrol MAGNATEC 5W-30" is good to use in her?

Its €48 over here, they also had Castrol Edge but thats almost €70...

Also the engine warning light/vsc/tc lights came on yesterday, i'm assuming because it has just over 10k done since last service!!? I have noticed reduced performance so hopefully the service will solve this.

A fellow Dub.....yes I put that oil in mine and it's fine. Word of advice, that oil comes in a 4 litre container, the T-Sport takes 4.4 so you need to buy a litre at the extortionate price of about €18. I bought mine at Halfords and they were selling it for €45 and 1 litre free with it. I was in Newry before Christmas and it was £30 for 4 litres, slight rip off down here, sure what's new.

Those warning lights are I would think more than just it requiring an oil change.

i just change form 5w-35 to 5w-50 Mobil 1 the engine is runing cool and smoth.
