Went Over A B**** Of A Pothole, Exhaust Possibly Loosened, Safe To Dri

Went over a pothole on thursday night and Seriously hit with a thud. There's a sort of rattling noise when Im going under 20 mph (prob just cant here it over the engine

at any higher a speed).

So, is it safe to drive? I'm gonna try to get it looked at this week but It mightn't get in that quick. Also don't know how much it will cost or if warranty will cover it,

also Im supposed to be driving to scotland this weekend in it. Don't fancy doin it if it makes it worse.

lol dont tell Mr T that u ran over sumthing til they hav checked it out, just say theres a strange noise coming from the exhaust, it may just be the baffles inside which have loosened (excuse the use of the word baffles i hope i got it right lol- it sounds like that neways) mine got replaced under warranty when i heard rattles coming from there, if theres any damage done and u admit fault, they wont replace it under warranty but as ur 'hearing strange noises' anyways they will look at it neway, and if its damaged they will tell u ) x

Yeah man i went down a gravel track once and got a stone stuck in my suspension.made some real nasty sounds at low revs

i didnt no untill toyota told me like.

but they did it free of charge witch is good and took 5 min

gonna call up shelbourne motors in the morning (nearest authorised toyota dealership) and just say im hearing funny noises from engine/exhaust and can they look at it

Got the car back from the garage.

Nothing wrong with the exhaust!!!! The !Removed! stick to prop open the bonnet when you have it open came loose from the hindges and so was rattling about!!!

Im just glad the car is ok! Means i can still drive to scotland this sat :D
