Hi all.

Whilst in for a 10k service I mentioned the rattling door mirror problem on my 08 08 T180.

The nice service manager said there was a fix for this as opposed to the three blobs of sealent we have used on this site before.

He ordered both covers part numbers 87915 - 42080 R/H and 87945 - 42080 L/H

They were fitted and have silenced the rattles.

Anyone with a car under warranty, get it in and done to save you the time and sealant!

Yep, same experience. Nice man at Alexander Wallace in Elgin fitted them in a jiffy and hey ho - no more irritating rattling! Ours is an XTR on an 07 plate.
