The T-sport would comfortably beat the MR2... my wife has the TTE Compressor and it completely blew my '2 away, OK, I know it's not a standard T-sport... but given that it beat it by miles........

I now have a turbo in the 2, and it beats the Compressor by miles... on acceleration anyway, but I suspect the compressor will have a higher top speed... pity there wouldn't be many straight sections on a track long enough for it to catch up

Tough one... A couple of seconds of Lift and closer gearing vs the weight advantage of the '2. hmmmmm.. The unofficial 0-60 times are about the same. Compressor is a different kettle of fish :D

Saying that, a Compressor engine and gearbox in a '2 totally, and I mean totally slays a tsport :) .. yet to encounter a turbo'd 2!

t sport wins, ive tried it against my mates mr2 from work, coming off a bend in 2nd i had to keep easing off the accelerator as i was up his behind, once he moved over i was away, no competition realy. although standing start maybe different, think the mr2 is 0-60 in something like 7.8, but once we hit lift im sure we will be moving ahead
