LOL,

i think a new thread needs to be started titled

"Does your Mrs drive your T-Sport more then you?"

Wonder how many of us hey?

I would be in that group, she drives the Rolla and doesn't really like the noise and i drive around in the barge

Yep same here, comes home and tells me how she's just blown this bloke off.

I wouldnt be happy if she told me that  ;)

I second that :P

LOL!

The only reason that people are scared to drive mine is because of the rust coating the whole thing!

To be fair I only ever use it when ****** around on the motorway or something. Mrs is pregnant at the mo so don't get to use it often when she's in the car... Get shouted at!

Lift is great for off the mark acceleration though. Just short of 40Mph in first, short of 70 in second and up to 90 in third.

One thing you might find funny doing... staying side by side a car pretending you're giving it full beans and then hitting lift after giving people false hope. (All on the tracks ofcourse..)

Also.. Consider an Induction kit of some sort. Great roar from the CTS with one!

See Here.

mine seems to go past 40 in first maybe 43 max and i dont seem to get near 70 in second maybe 63 or 64 max, 90 in 3rd seems about right, spose all cars are going to be different

It probably does go past 40 in first but I'm too busy concentrating at keeping it in Lift through 1st and 2nd that I don't look at the speedo :P I think it goes to roughly 65ish in 2nd but by the time you managed to clunk it in to 3rd it's rolled up to 70.

what speed do u need to change to second to stay in lift ? I ain't had a good go at it yet , I'm not far off , do the revs need to be kept high on gear change ?

It just needs to be a swift change. Don't bounce off the limiter as that'll lower the chances of it staying in lift. Took me a few weeks to get used to it but most people can do it after a while. :P
