Engine Oil And Atf

hi, i have the 1996 toyota previa emina, import, 2.2td, just wondering ,could anyone tell me what grade engine oil to use and where do you top up the atf, dumb q

I cannot advise about the engine oil but as for the Automatic Transmission Fluid.... lots of cars have to be topped up via the dipstick tube. Yes it is a slow method but there often is no other way The way I did it was to fill a decent size pump action oil can, put a good length of clear tube on the end, put the end of the clear tube into the dipstick tube and pump away. Sorry if this seems daft but it does work without spilling any :)
