Nitrous will agree with any engine as long as it's used in moderation or you'll just have fried eggs for an engine.

Don't know anybody that has applied it to a CTS yetthough. I wouldn't mind doing it.. I'm forbidden by the 'other half' though!

I would but its costly and doesnt last to long. Re fills are also a long process etc. Good if you do drag racing but for everyday i couldnt see it serving a purpose. Also it is illegal to use on the highway i think. However you are allowed to have the bottle in the car i think. Someone can correct me.

I really want to get a set of piper cams for my TS, also get the exhaust and everything done and see how much power its pushing.

Fitting Nitrous to your everyday road car is a touch daft IMO, all you have to think about the 1st drag race in the fast and furious and that says it all really

i dont think im going to get a nitous kit just wondered what it could of been like, as the kits have come down loads over the past couple of years and as you can get a burst up to 75bhp extra (i think), for a coupe of hundred quid it could have been a good surprise to the scooby's in my area as they think they own the place ! in your description you have a trd quick shifter, what is it like to fit and use every day, not to stiff? dont think my clutch could handle one at the mo as it stinks, think its on the way out, what upgrades are there for clutches as i have heard toyota ones are a bit soft compared to spending a few more pennys and getting a aftermarket one.

the trd short shift will probably not be to everyones liking, Some people find them to stiff to use everyday. However i like the hard and precise feeling of the trd short shift. It knocks into gear much better where as the old shifter felt flimsy and would loosely clunk into gear. I would recommend it but perhaps pick it up a bit cheaper. £150+ could buy you something a bit better i reckon. It is worth it if you race something near enough the same pace as you as it reduces your shifting time a fair bit keeping you in lift and making your life a wee bit easier when under pressure. Other than that....i need a bit more time to comment on it as im still getting used to it.

I had a Nitrous kit on my 80cc bike a few years ago!! Brilliant stuff. . . Bike maxed out at 21,000Rpm. . . Standard was 15,000Rpm. It would be no used to an everyday car tho!! worth a try inhaling it too:)
