Gti Exhaust Manifold!

Hi guys and gals,

I found an exhaust manifold online but its for a GTS AE86, its a 4A-GE manifold but I'm not sure if it will fit?

Does anyone else know, and do you know where I could get one for a GTI-16?

THis one won't fit mate. GTi is front wheel drive with transverse engine and AE86 is rear wheel drive with engine going fron to rear.

No, the RWD manifold wont fit.

I had a OBX FWD manifold on one of my Twincams.

Needs some modding to fit, Weld the O2 sensor, And Modify exhaust by cutting it by a few inches to accomidate the longer downpipe.

To be honest, it wasnt worth the hassel. Made Little or next to no gain in performance.

Standard manifold is good unless your running crazy N/A power.

Mines rusted to the point of oblivion and I'd like to have the extra power that it gives.

Also the custom ones are usaully stainless or armour coated. :P

You manifold will have surface rust. This is standard on ALL twincams. It will not have gone through.

Read the guide on 4age tuning on the net, the standard manifold is very good.

And you gain no power, another member on this forum has this manifold and said they didnt notice a difference. I didnt either.

Oh yeah, standard manifold sounds better to imo.
