Ride Height Gen 7

Is the ride height lower in the early gen 7's?

I own a 2000 gen 7 and it deffenitly looks lower than any other gen 7 even tho I haven't lowered it and I've been assured that it defenitly hasn't been lowered before I owned it, it has all the extras.

I'm just very curious.

Mine is a 2001 and mine rides low to, it feels im going a LOT fast than I am, its like a go-kart lol

I have been next to a 2005 model, and it sits lower im sure the window lines were defo higher up on his than mine

The springs, shocks and ride hight should be identical.

They revised the bolts, and drop links in the facelift but the height should be the same.... infact all Gen 7 celicas have the same heights, 190, 140 and Tsport except the GT, whch comes out of the factory on lowered TTE sport springs.

I have a 1999 Gen 7 140 and I was park up next to an 2004 190 and my car was at least an inch lower. Ive noticed that too

An inch is 25mm.... thats verging on a set of TTE springs. Are you sure you lot with lower cars infact do not have it lowered, of have some passengers inside?

The wear and tear of the springs cannot account for 25mm worth of lowering!

The other thing maybe the wheels and tires are different... a set of 17 with 215/45/17 tires will raise the car by a few mm over the stock wheel and tires.

I've 17 inch wheels on mine and it definitly hasnt been lowered but it looks lower, its a 2000, I'll try and get a photo up to compare

I have a pre face lift 140 and the ride height was the same as all other g7's (pre and post face) until i put tte spring on lowering around 30mm?
