ALOT of work.

Fuel tank and lines (Or inline fuel pump) to convert to FI

Custom mounts

Custom driveshafts

ALOT of wiring, Would be very difficult to wire the VVTi into your existing loom

Custom exhaust

Aftermarket ECU (Standard will have an immobilliser system that is connected to the keys)

Custom radiator

Alot more stuff aswell. Not worth the hassel.

Consider a 4AGE conversion

Youl need

1 engine mount

Engine and box

Driveshafts hubs etc of a GTI

Loom of a GTI

Fuel injection conversion

And some other bits and batts

Easier conversion but still it is a hard conversion.

Stil will be a pain. Only thing a whole car for parts would be useful for is the engine, gearbox and the loom.

Everything else is more or less custom.
