Toyota Corolla 03 Alternator?

alternator went in my car the other day n the rectifier bridge is f****d basically and the guy who was to recondition it cant find parts to fix it so i went online to buy one

got it from autopartstrader.co.uk

my car is a 2003 toyota corolla T3 2.0L D-4d

the thing is, the one i got is a '2002' toyota corolla T3 2.0L D-4d

all the preface lift 2.0L d-4d's are gonna have the same alternator arent they?? put my mind at ease because it cost me £40 online and toyota quoted me £316 which is a joke lol, i really hope it fits!

am sure it will fit mate, if a 2006 gear box, clutch, a deisel tte back box fiited MY 2002 COROLLA i am sure your part will fit fine! :D

lol i hope so - the joke is, the £316 alternator toyota quoted me wasnt even for a brand new one, it was for a reconditioned one [which may be as good as new but still] and they wanted my old one, serious nerve lol

i know they are wild with their prices!! they wanted to charge me £1000 just to chek if my gear box had gone! when it has been diagnosed by other garages for free!!! jus go 4 it mate and buy a used one! the only thing different is the part number! :D
