Corolla Gti 1.6 (1988) Question!

Good Day to all of you,

I'am sending from Greece, please excuse me for some mistakes I may make.

I want your help.Recently I bought a Corolla Gti 1.6 year 1988.

if someone know what is the exact type of my engine..Meaning is this with 125hp? other?

Secondly I have hear, i don't know in english the world in some rpm, metallic sound tik tik tik from the front side, some friend told me

that it is from bad quality of gazoline or the "avance'' is too high ....

please help
