Should I Turbo Charge My Corolla..?

Yo I was wondering if i should turbo charge my '97 corolla ( 4A-FE )

it is driven 225.000. km. and is in ok condition but it is driven so much....

Do u guy's think the engine has much more left in her or..?

wow to be honest if you were to turbo charge it you would seriously need to look into replacing some engine parts etc cos i dont think those old parts will be able to handle the extra horses

I'd guess that the engine isn't so strong so you'd have to get:

Forged pistons

Custom Turbo exhaust manifold

Higher duration cams

A new ECU re-map

Heavy Duty clutch kit

Upgraded brakes (i.e. anti fade)

new brake pads

new air filter (not panel)

and an intercooler system to keep it cool

If it isn't strong enough, you may also need a new crank to handle the extra power levels

There are other things like guages for boost, water temp, oil temp and air temperature taht you need to keep an eye on.

Its a big job for a car that wasn't designed for turbos!
