How To Change Avensis Trip Computer From Kph To Mph

Hi All,

I had my horn fixed through the Airbag Squib.

The Battery was disconnected to allow the airbag to be removed.

On re-connection the trip computer now displays in KPH.

If anybody can advise how to change it to MPH it would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Marama

what exact model/trim?

if it's the same as my 2007 TR with multi information display it's on p165 of the manual.

""vehicle must be stationary & key in "ON" position.

Press & release the "DISP" button repeatedly until "Setup Press & hold" is displayed & then press & hold the "DISP" button.""

should get a screen with

Clock

Unit

Exit

"Press the DISP button to highlight UNIT & then press & hold the DISP button. the distance units will be displayed.

each time the DISP button is pushed the display is changed. The unit can be set by pushing & holding the DISP button.

Push the DISP button to select Exit & then push & hold te button to change the display to the information display."

Hi,

It's a 2001 1.6 VVTI.

Unfortunately it's totally different to the 2007 model.

Thanks for trying though
