My First Car =]

Hi everyone new to the forums here. Just wanted to say that I bought my first car which is a Corolla 1.3 16v little on the cheap side but insurance kills me at my age!

So far loving the car lol!

I just wanted some help on where I could find some parts such as sport grill, clear black headlights, also some black alloy wheels?

Also any ideas will be helpful, I just want to keep it simple and clean that means no massive bodykits and oversized wheels etc..

I have found some wheels which are 15" and I belive they would fit but not sure can anyone confirm?

Thanks for any help !

hello,

first things first, lets see the wagon, post up a pic if you can then we can post up some ideas for you to think about. whilst your at it post a picture or link to the wheels your thinking of!

off the top of my head 15's are rather small for any rolla.... 16's/17's would be more desirable but if funds are a limiting factor... so be it.

Hi, thanks for the reply!

Yeah hopefully I'l get some pics up by Friday.

Really? Right now I have stock 14", im guessing I should go with 16's then. I really dont want to modify the body or anything and I prefer the 15/16" better.

But anyway here's a link to the wheels not a major brand but should be good to start me off.

I wont be buying the red lip wheels but a silver lip instead found one on eBay. Can I trust eBay to buy wheels ?

Anyway thanks for the help Ricc ;)

eBay is a grate place to buy any parts off

with eBay, you have a come-back if the wheels are not as described in the item spec.

this enititles you to give them a good look around, and if they have somthing wrong with them, your able to walk away.

which is always good.

ive always bought things off eBay, and basically all you have to do is make sure you check everything that your buying.

other then that they should be a minter.

with regards to wheels ive got a 2001 corolla sr and im 19 :P loving the fact i can get cheep insurance :P

ive got 17"s on mine, was going to change them to a set of 16"s but i dont see the point,

With the 1.3 your probs best off getting ither 15's of 16's but id recomend a set of 16's, as they will fill the arch a little bit more and will give the car more of agressive stance.

glad to see that your enjoing your car tho :D

Fensport are also a good place to look for parts ;)

this is true, although they do not do all of the parts that you can get, and some of their prices a abit high :P

also, the suspension and brakes off an e10 will fit a e11 and e11 facelift (as my friend had a e11, with e10 suspension and brake on)

Thanks for all the info guys.

Well yeah I think I'l go with 16's as im looking for that aggresive stance lol.

Also will parts from USA, same model fit correctly with euro corollas, such as im tempted to buy black clear headlights?

And if anyone has any good recommendations with 16" black alloys with tyres, if you could please send some links. I would say my price range is around £380 or near.

Thank you!
