Hi all, newbie here :D i have just bought myself a year 2000 Yaris 1.0 vvti and love it to bits. I have a question the 1st of many no doubt  ...anyways the little screen that displays the radio settings and mpg info is very dark, it is back lit so its not a bulb issue, if i push the screen the lcd becomes lighter but returns dark as soon as the presure is removed, does any one have a solution to restore this? I can read what it says but i have to tilt my head to either side to get all the info displayed, thanks in advance Johnny

EDIT because I didn't read it properly

Sorry mate. I completely misread your post. Thought you were talking about the speedo etc, not the radio. More coffee required.

If you press and hold the display button on the left of the screen and hold it down for a few seconds it will beep and then should light up again.

I did it by accident once and sometimes at night I like to have it dark.
