Engine Management Help

I have a 04 verso. Stop at traffic light today, turned music down via steering wheel and at the same time my engine management light came on so did the traction control (TRC OFF) and vehicle stability control (VSC). Turned engine off but all light still on after restart. Iam confuss as I was stopped when it came on and road surface was fine.

Can anyone offer me a reason or cure?

This happened similarly on a previous car of mine, turned out to be a defective abs sensor, all those systems run from the abs sensor so if it goes it knocks them all out, there is one for each wheel right by the hub and exposed to everything the wheels can throw at them so it's amasing it doesn't happen more... Could have come on as you stopped as the system will check itself every now and again, I think the steering wheel input was coincidence....

Any garage should be able to confirm by plugging in an OBD11 reader and reading the fault codes...
