Hi The first thing I would check is the brake disks, it sounds to me like a warped disk. the next things is a loose disk. judder also happens with a loose wheel but you would normally also feel that driving. Hope thats a helps

These cars are notorious for sticking calipers which in tunr leads to binding brakes. If the brakes have been binding for too long they get excessively hot and as Anne has suggested they warp.

The best way to check for warpage is to use a dial gauge and check for run out but if you take off the wheels and feel a serious ridge at the top of the disc this is a sure sign of wear. Also the actual caliper should push back smoothly with the slight aid of a large screw driver to release friction between the disc and pads. Anything more than slight leverage is a sign of sitcking sliders which I can 200% assure you, irrespective of mileage, will be the case. The sliders needs to be taken out , completely stripped from their rubber boots. cleaned thoroughly and lubed with with glycerol grease.

Its worth changing the discs all round as well if the ridge a mentioned is present. They are not hugely expensive and will improve braking no end. However replacing them without first fixing the sticking sliders will cause them to errode in a very short space of time.
