Starting Problems! Heeeelp!

hi guys, first time poster, but im really getting frustrated with my '94 2.0 GT. most days the car starts up fine, but everyonce in a while it refuses to start.

the engine turns over but just doesn't fire up. and if u keep tryin for a few minutes, the Battery seems to lose power and eventually the engine doesnt turn at all and just clicks.

also, this usually happens when i dont drive it for a while, eg, if i park it up for the night and dont drive it again till the following evening.

ive had new spark plugs put in, the Battery has been tested and is fine (only a few weeks old).

has anybody had similar problems or any ideas what the problem could be?

any help would be appreciated.

if your cranking the engine untill the starter clicks you have flattened the Battery for starters., did you charge the Battery for a full 24 hours before having it tested ? new batteries can be dud !!

also does the car run ok once up and running ?

yeh once the car fires up the first time, its perfect for the rest of the day, its only wen i leave it parked up for a while (15+ hours) ive had the Battery load ested which shows up no problems. also when i attatch jump leads, it still doesnt fire up. so im guessing it wont be the Battery??
