My Aygo was delivered on 155/65R14 steel rims with fuel saving Conti-tires. They are really hard and noisy, but the overall suspension comfort is good and the car is quite comfy for the longer trips.

For the summer season to come, I’m giving my blueberry a present. New alloy rims! :)

Some say that 195/45R15 is a good choice, but I’d assume this lowers both mpg and comfort. What would be the best compromise between handling and comfort? And which tires is recommended?

I’d really like something wider, because now my car looks like a wheelbarrow :)

As for the rims, I have really no clue. I’ve seen some Aygo’s on this forum with really nice rims, but I can’t find them now. Any suggestions? Pics with the rims mounted would been great!

I think the 15" momo corse ones look good and are great value for money

I don't think that black rims will look very good on my blue Aygo. Looks much better on a black one.

Besides, a friend of mine has the exact same rims. I don't wanna be a copycat :)

But the Momo WRS or Momo Win Silver looks good!

If your bothered about comfort then you should go for 14's. Since 15's require low profile tyres of course which make the ride a bit bumpier compared to standard which i found smooth

I really like the rims on your Aygo, weevicky!

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find them anywhere in Norway.

Zaaro: Of course, improved handling would be great, but I spend more time cruising than throwing the car around tight curves :)

I dont chuck my car around tight curves that often, just now and then. The 195/45/15 alloys really do add to the handling of general driving and not just the fun factor. Like i said before though, if you find the standard wheels bumpy then you should not go fo 15's

I still like mine the best

Of course we all pick the sort of wheels we like so we will always think they look the best.

I totally agree with Zaaro, anything lower profile and larger ( heavier !!? ) will make it a lot more crashy, it's the trade off for going around the corners a lot lot quicker.

I have no idea of the make or style or size but these are the wheels my daughter has on her car. They need a serious refurb but still look good :)
