4 Year 40,000 Service

Ok here we go about servicing costs.

I have had my Rav from new 4 years always had it serviced at Main dealers why? I am not sure perhaps it is a trust thing.

Times are different now, financial times are also different, and after seeking a new key this year at the main dealers where they wanted to re mortgage the house to pay for it plus I never really received much help from them despite the fact we have now purchased 7 new Toyota's from them.

That got me thinking I am working in Essex why not seek alternative good service which I am sure is equivalent to the Main dealers.

Advice would be nice.

1. what should I expect to pay for a 40,000 mile service

2. Is it easy to get a quality service done

3. Is it worth trying to seek a deal with the main dealers.

What part of Essex you in...I know of some good garages near me..One and ex Toyota garage (now Seat but still has Toyota service side as well) other one an independent but do good work....

Places I have in mind are Johnson Seat on Galleys corner Braintree and Taylors Car Care Centre in Great Dunmow, bit too far from Soooooouth End...
