No this is for a 2.2 diesel and will not fit yours. There are good quality kits on there for less than £600.

The ECU dampens the take up of the clutch (by surpressing the accelerator). It is a countermeasure against someone who is a bit sharp with the clutch to prevent premature dmf failure. You don't have to fit one if you are "normal" with the clutch.
